Well another one has poked its head through and another is pipping. Very Happy
Four look to be infertile Sad never mind its still not bad for her first clutch Smile

I lost the one piping, it couldnt get through and suffocated, i wish i'd intervened.

and on that note i slit the remaining 4 eggs, they are fertile and alive (hope they stay that way).
They can at least see day light and can push through when they need too without any effort now.
The first two have left the eggs completely and i took a few shots before i set them down in their new viv.




They are over 6 inches, i was quite surprised, the dead one measured approximately 155mm TL and 62mm SVL. Smile

Wow what great photo's of some really cute Ackies!! I bet they are going to be great to watch when they start to feed and interact.
I am looking to take on a monitor such as a Bosc or maybe a Tegu, but I may have another option now Very Happy

Thanx guys, i'm not very proud of myself for losing the two hatchlings, i should have known better, cant say i was totally to blame for the first one cause they die in nature for the same reasons but it dont help me none Mad Neutral
