Just wondered why ? Is it for some practical reason, or 'cos you all get too impatient waiting for those morph heads.

i dont quite know why people first started to cut python eggs sue?people have used the excuse it's incase the baby cant slit the eggs and escape the 'calcium tomb' i slit mine though cos im really impatient and it makes me feel like a doctor _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |

yeah but when the eggs in late development the veins drop away from surface slightly so its not such a problem.i used to candle the eggs and draw a safe line on the egg but now i just candle and look for a clear spot.upto now ive been quite good too and have only chopped three heads off and amputated a quarter of a tail twice _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |

im a pro seriously though if you only put a tiny inch long slit in the egg you'll be fine,its mega as well if its a morph clutch and cut it to find a jewel inside takes some beating in the world or reps ill tell ya _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |

Thats the biggest fear i have cutting the eggs
I learned ages ago how to be patient with royals, so maybe this learned patience with them rubs off on my temptation to cut them _________________ Who like's art?

knowing my luck i would find a jewel. and have cut it in half!!!!! _________________
