....and so Granny rides in to put her foot in her mouth. I would guess that she is gravid. Did you cool them over the winter ? I do not own corns now. When I did have some, I remember the female really surprising me by laying 16 slugs Surprised I had recently bought her, and she did NOT look gravid to me.

Thanks for pm about the shop address. Will look them up soon.

Sue

no i did not cool them over the winter. Thanks for the input sue

your very welcome. They have been their a while, so should still be there, actually thinking about it, i think there is only one blonde one left. I may have got the price slightly off, but the giants are that price, the rest are similar. If you need any more info on the shop or those snakes, just drop me pm

oh ok.

Can Anyone else give their opinion?

Hi Tom More than likely she is gravid by now anyway so moving her to prevent it is a little late .But removing him will stop him from stressing her out and lead to her retaining them .plus trying to breed with her as she tries to lay them.
Did you say she shed three weeks ago then she may just go right into another without eating .sure sign she is pregnant with most of my females, .
Lift her and let her run between your fingers you should be able to feel the eggs just feel between her ribs easy like so as not to hurt them.

ok so i just checked her and did not really notice anything, but then again i am not sure what i am looking for.

Also i just read this:
http://www.snakepictures.co.uk/snake_laying_eggs.htm

and on that website it says:
Quote:
It was soon obvious that Alice was pregnant - she became quite active, nosing around as if looking for something, alternating with periods of quiet restfulness when she curled up in a corner. So I put the nesting box - actually an old plastic sandwich box - into the vivarium for her and she immediately went into it and curled up in there, burrowed into the damp peat in the bottom

my snow has recently been moving around alot more, and i thought she was looking for food, but she wasn't otherwise she would have eaten

From all that has been said, I do think that it is a case of 'make room in the incubator' Wink
