any hotter and it would have been charcoal,we have had him around 4 weeks now

Dont get too stressed just yet , it will feed in time im certain , try feeding at night with lights off and heated fuzzy , sometimes makes a difference , royals are famous icky feeders

aye .agree wi iain/duncan. and if he looked interested in the fuzzy then just left, heat a rat fluff next time, but leave him a week. its a case of trial and error till you get it right.

plenty time yet. just monitor his weight. assist feeding is stressful and may put him off even more. give him time to settle. leave a full week. only go in to change water.

keep a note of his weights on a weekly basis so you know he isnt dramatically losing (he wont be) , dont over stress most people do when there new royal wont feed but be assured its very very common , he will feed in time for you
