I'm thinking of a 4' x 2 x 2 aquarium set up along the same lines. Maybe with an external filter and real plants...The stinkpots are meant to be 1,2 and I am hoping to keep a trio of the western painteds once they become sexable. I'll try and sort some pics...

Cool...definitely post some pics if you get the time...would love to see them. My wife is really keen on the idea of turtles. Are you planning to try any fish in with them?
