Lindsey, these are lovely! Havent really looked into them before, are the males always that colour or is he a special one? What is the standard enclosure for these? and are planning to breed?

Im thinking these may look lovely in my spare viv ....

They're pretty easy to care for. I had the three of them in a 18"x18"x24" exoterra as babies. The two girls live in there now and the boy has his own 12"x12"x18" just to give the girls a chance to grow to a good breeding size and get a little older. I am planning to breed them maybe next season. Height is important for cresties, they love to climb, include lots of plants for hiding and wood and vines to climb. They do well in room temperature and don't need special lighting. I use the exoterra light hoods just to give them a little more heat during the day and a photo period. Mist the cage once a day to give them some humidity. You can keep them in groups depending on cage size, just no more than one male per group, they'll fight.

No the colours are not gender dependent. They come in lots of colour morphs. Hope that helps.

Awesome, thanks Lindsey! I am getting some panther chams at the end of the year and putting them in exos until big enough for some screen vivs so now I know what I can put int the Exos when Ive moved the chams out!!! AWESOME!
