the giant Indian has fed every day but refused today but could be coming up for a mount. The flower has fed today but only had it a few hours;) _________________

Well its too hard to tell from a photo, you need to look down on the pronotum and guestimate/measure the dimensions and compare etc the sort of thing you need to do with the animal in your hand or care really

Yeah cracking little beasts, i've never kept this species i dont think, had a few Creobroter sp and Hymenopus but i tend to prefer the larger mantids normally.
Saying that i'd still like to keep and breed whalbergii some day but id give several fingers to get my remaining ones on Tarachodula pantherina again ( i lost them to a stupid mistake, not a hard species normally imo), a small, bark type mantis from Africa, they are only small but they captured me

The animals below are nymphs, i forget what instar but they might be pre sub or sub adult?
