Does anybody keep Bamboo plants in their vivs? I know most have Pothos, Umbrella and/or ficus but I thought Bamboo would be ideal. Maybe it's toxic or doesn't like the conditions? Can anybody advise please.

Don't know if I'm excited or nervous Joe, I'll be glad when he's settled in and I know he's drinking and eating.

bamboo would be "ok"... but they cannot grip bamboo very well so they do get frustrated with bamboo canes for example.

Thanks for that, That's understandable I suppose, as the canes are very smooth. Although when it's a live plant I think it has a rough skin around the cane? I'm probably wrong, trying to be a herpetologist and a botanist all once is a bit mind blowing lol.
