I will give her another week and try her with a bit of raw fish. I have some white bait which I used to feed to my Newt in the freezer she might like that.
I think I would be going mad if she did not eat for months... 2 weeks and I am already in a panic!![/quote]
be carefull when using the white bait. Make sure you boil it before feeding. pour boiling waterr over it in a tub. It can be dangerous i heard if you dont. _________________ 2.1 Heterodon Nasicus

if she last shed in march she is well due a shed and I bet 10 quid she does. If not I would buy some frozen lancefish and rub them all over a mouse or rat pup. But 10 quid says she is about to shed |

She had moved up from pinkies to fuzzes. She was taking them with no problems (and still hungry after-wards). |

I did wonder if she was shedding, she is hiding under the water bowl allot (where its damp and she tends to hide when she is shedding). Her belly scales are still black and they are normally the first thing to go grey when she is shedding.
Thanks for all the support and advise! |

Sorry for not updating sooner!
Kartush ate a fuzzie last week and again last night, so she is back to her little piggie self.
Last week I left her a few days before trying to feed her, dropped the food in her tank and she gave me the 'look of death', the look which meant I am hungry, please turn off my light and leave me alone!! She was like that when I first got her, she was very picky about eating when someone was watching, but she seemed to get over it and was attacking me to get to her food! (I kid you not, s he would lunge for her food).
But she seems to be back to normal now.. |
