|
|
Being a relative newbie to this forum and also to snakes in general, I wanted to know what species of snake would grow to a maximum of 6ft and be relatively easy to handle from a beginers perspective.
I have space issues you see. I have a normal female ball python (2.5ft) and was just thinking about expanding my collection.
Thanks snake lovers.... |

Corn Snakes, Black Rat Snake, Milk Snakes, King Snakes, House Snakes, Hognose Snake, Dwarf boa constrictor, trinket snakes,
There are an awful lot really. What kind of snake were you looking for? a boa/python? colubrid? _________________ Tom

i second the notion of House Snakes partly because i keep them and think their ace, but a corn snake or milk/king would also be a nice snake for the size you are looking for _________________ Reptiles by Erik Paterson

I am a big fan of Boas and Brazilians are excellent - also the dwarf boas are great.
Another poss would be an Irian Jaya Carpet Python = stunning, calm, active and easy to keep. |
