|
|
I thought I'd show everyone the progess on the build of the new viv. I want to breed my beardie and decide the current viv is not big enough.
I am building it out off MDF 18mm, its going to be 6ft x 2ft x 3ft.
Measuring the position for the screws
Attached the sides to the bottom (the sheet of MDF on the floor is going to be the back but the floor is not level so used to sit the bits together)
Then I attached the top
Finally I attached the panel at the front to support the glass doors
Having a quick break as the bettery on the drill died, will add more pictures later.
Any comments welcome |

Finally got the rest off the viv put together late on monday night
The gap in the back is going to be meshed and used as a large vent.
I decided to start on the fake wall this evening, so a quick trip to wickes for the bits. I didn't want it covering the whole viv, so building it in 2 parts. Here the first part
Tomorrow evening I'll start covering the wall with the grout and start the next section off the wall |
