Have put this in the venomous forum as I thought the content would appeal here more...
Here's a B. irregularis caught last Summer on Buton Island, just off Sulawesi in Indonesia. I was just flicking through some old photos and didn't think I had posted this one before.
You can clearly see the rear (opisthoglyphous) fangs in this photo, usually hard to to get a clear photograph of unless you have a nice size one like this one.

Thats what I was trying to figure out! I know (I think) I definitely didn't take the second and I'm holding the snake in the first so doubt I could've taken it either, they're just all in one big mixed folder of loads of peoples pictures
It was a gorgeous snake though. We found it in one of the caves we came across which could explain its much paler, almost grey, patternation. Other B. irregularis we found were much darker brown/dark brick red
