His name is Rufus from the latin Lynx rufus = Bobcat

He as the perfect bobcat tail but if I'd have shown you this it would have made it too easy. Laughing

He is 13 weeks old and very cheeky. I have always kept cats but this breed is something unique in personality and behaviour. He's almost dog like really affectionate and likes to play fetch and catch. He can be vocal and has a unique sound almost across between a howl and meow. He makes different sounds depending on what he wants. i.e food or attention.
When he is awake he follows you around like a puppy.

he is quite large too. is this like the maines and forests are they larger. they are gorgeous cats.

Yes they are a large cat. The paws are big and the overall body tone is solid. Forgot to mention they also wag their tail.

They have a wild look to them and are a bit of a legend cat supposedly stemming from bobcat matings.

Lisa I am really interested in the pixie bobs. Are there many of them over here yet? Are they going for GCCF registration, or are the breeders sticking with TICA?

Does the tail length breed true or do you get variant tail lengths in most matings?
