No doubt Scott will let us know in due course, but the photos of the babies show a VERY nice wee hatchling. Scott will you be keeping all of the babies ?

Oops Shocked Now what? Keep em all back and prove them out? Laughing
It is weird though. Either you are really unlucky on the odds (all "normals") and the female has something hidden, or you mixed something up. Would be a shame if you sold them as normals and they turned out to be het pieds.

That is an odd one Confused What are your plans for them?
Have het pied markers been proven then? I read something that said they hadn't, but that may have been an old article i never checked the date... Question

I am truly shocked that the people on this forum would imagine for one cotton picking minute that I play such a dastardly trick as swapping a Lesser or Pinstripe with a recessive morph like a Pied when Scott wasn't looking! Shocked Shocked Shocked

I could never swap one BP morph for another whilst he wasn't looking. That would be awful and damned unfair and, needless to say, would destroy our friendship, trust, respect and camaderie for ever! Crying or Very sad

Swapping one of his BP morphs for a mongoose is a much better idea ... Laughing

Very strange results from clutch 7 Scott. I have been breeding Lesser Platty to a number of normal females for the last two seasons and have never had a clutch that didn't contain a predominence of Lessers; the last Lesser clutch to hatch had 4 Lessers and 2 normals.
I would tend to say, are you sure it's a Lesser? but as it's you, I won't.
As the female is a CF, it can be carrying a recessive gene that you are unaware of and the quickest way to find out if it is, is to keep back a male hatchling and mate him back to the CF female.
