I went into work this morning and was asked if I wanted a rabbit. my trainer had him dumped at hers on Saturday and she doesn't want another rabbit.
I need some furry things for my new job anyway and as this rabbit is very small and quite tame I figured he'd be quite good. He is currently quite skinny and has some matted fur, we think he lived in a hutch and wasn't allowed out for a run.
He'll be used in presentations for young kids as soon as I'm trained to do those, until then he'll need to get some weight on and I shall possibly smoother him with cuddles too.
My trainer is keeping him until Wednesday to let me get the hutch and read up on rabbit care. He's called Roly (has to have a wean friendly name).
Only thing I haven't though of is a run for him, I'll need to have a look and see how much they are but there is a spare hutch at work.
I'll try and get better pictures of him when I get him home (well not my home as my dad is allergic, he'll be living with my aunt as she lives just down the road from me).
It's a bit new for me having a furry pet I can pick up and cuddle but cuddle him I did!
Here's Roly the rabbit. _________________

That`s a pent house of a rabbit hutch.
He`s a "Butterfly" dwarf french lop, one of the friendliest breeds around. Looks like a buck judging by the shape of his head. The mark on his nose is the butterfly. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

We sort of figured out he was a boy when we took him to the vets to have his nads removed!
We're on a lookout for a wee lady friend for him now, thanks for giving us the exact breed name. I figured he was a dwarf lop but couldn't have told you any more than that.
I wouldn't say he was overly friendly but he hasn't bitten yet. Just doesn't seem to like being pick up much, he likes being brushed though. _________________

I am wanting a new outdoor one for mine -they currently indoor, but think they need more space even though they only indoor at night as they in the 8ft run in the day _________________ Sophxx
