I must state that I DO NOT keep my hatchlings with my adults. They were together only for photos and carefully supervised  ( Got to risk assess everything these days - even posts on a forum)

No risks were taken, the little hatchling was never in a position for the older one to have a go, I was extremely careful as I do care about my cresties.
I was using my remote button to take the photos and my hand was literaly only an inch or two away.
