|
|
Hello,
I have a poly boxincubator with a plexi glass window in but I hate i.
Ideally I would like a small beer fridge with a glass door, which is easily seen into.
I have seen the for like 100 quid, but can I get one any cheaper ?
I will use heat mat and stat, and will leave in all the cooling equipment, so in the winter I can use it to cool drinks
Any help will be appriciated.
Regards . . . . Paul _________________ Regards, Paul.

I tried this but unless you have a waste licence they wont let you have them, as they are now classed as hazard waste
Ebay has them, i have even seen them being sold as not working just luck of the draw |

If you look for a recycling company in your area they will ususally have removed the Freon from them, which is the hazardous part. I'm collecting 3 this week for myself one is 6 foot tall and the other 2 are under counter bar fridges with double doors from my local recycling company, there is a small charge for them and I have to get them from the yard myself, but the large one should hold 20 clutches of royal eggs and the other 2 are for my geckos eggs etc. The only downside is that this particular company won't deal with the general public which is not a problem for me as I run my own business, but I am looking at getting hold of these fridges and converting them with a view to selling them on, but I have to get them as I want them first and see what the costs are. I also have access to a courier so will be able to ship at a reasonable cost I hope once all the unnecessary parts are removed which will make them considerably lighter. _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Look around the ad papers and freecycle of course. They are out there. _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |

Try putting a 'wanted' ad in your local paper, and into newsagents windows. Ask for the fridge, say that non-working is fine and that you are willing to remove for free..... People are sooo lazy that they would love you to take a broken one away for them. Worth a try, hope that you are successfull.
