Hey...I have a pair of these. (leiocephalus personatus) ...mine are breeding, the female keeps laying single or pairs of small eggs in one of the underground caves in their viv. Each time I've taken them out carefully and placed them in the incubator, but so far all have failed.

I've searched the web and there's not much info out there, particularly with regard to breeding. I've decided to leave any more eggs that I might find in the viv to see if they have anymore success.

I would be pleased to share notes on your viv set-up for your curly-tails, mine are in an exo-terra glass open-fronted viv with the mesh lid. Deep sand with 4 underground caves, a pile of rocks in one corner for basking. One of the caves has slightly damp sand in and another damp spagnum moss. The other two caves do not have removeable lids, but one is cut away against the front glass so we can see in (I think the lizards are wise to this tho cos they almost never go in!), they share their viv with one 5-lined skink (unsure whether male or female - it's way too scarily fast to check out properly). They all live happily together tho. They have a UV tube on top of the mesh screen and a lightbulb suspended inside the viv for basking.

They are so beautiful as your pictures show - I only bought the male first because I fell in love with him at the expo show in Houten. I had to go out the following year to find him a girlfriend!

Where did you get yours from? Any good links for online info?

Very Happy
