2 35watt U lights throw out about 4000-4500 lumens each
Thanks for the compliments guys
Same planting is going to be very lush basically packing it with shades of green for a full look to give it more visiual depth.
It's wont have more than 2-3 bromeliads maximum few philodenrum species a few orchids and a fw pothos cultivars amonst others and a couple of really sexy creepers
as for the shade lovers and plants needing certain light levels in the viv that's how you plant every viv mate as you should know _________________ Paul

hehe, yeah, I know, Just wondered how dark it was going to be at the bottom I dont know of any ferns which grow in black holes...
Thats some serious lighting... is it spots or tubes (t4, t5?)?
Which are the "sexy creepers" then, or was that a bizzare reference to Stu and yourself?! I quite like ficus montana... the small oakleaf style foliage is rocking _________________ Interested in amphibians? Join us at Myamphibia for friendly banter, amazing pictures and great information. Great job, Paul! You've made it look very easy, which I'm sure it's not. Where do you get the polystyrene sheets from, and what kind of paint are you using? _________________

Paul, any hints on the covering for the trunk? Eg, grout etc- inc UK brand names if possible. Sorry, being cheeky!
Picking up 2 new dart vivs on sunday and would love to put a trunk in one... |

Since I saw you recommending me on another forum I'll share lol
I use wickes tile grout with a little cement and build it up in sloppy layers a few mm at a time I then after a few layers sand it down then do a final layer.
Mix it with mortar plasticiser _________________ Paul

After you thought I had insulted you on DB!
Do you wash it with vinegar or anything after? Have used grout, but heard about leaching with cement... |
