Hi

My female panther chameleon has had some thick discharge today from her vent. Most of the discharge is clear coloured but there is also white and pink mixed in (sorry if this post is too graphic!).

She was bred to my male on 17th, 19th, and 21st March and took on gravid colours on the 24th March.

Is this discharge normal in a female that is about to lay? She hasn't yet shown any interest in the laying bucket which is filled with 8 inches of moist compost.

thanks

Stuart

Shocked I hope it's normal, cos my female my female did this yesterday. Must admit I didn't notice the first time she laid a clutch.
