Just looked at my cham and he has red flesh coming out of his bottom

Cant remember the name for it

What should I do? Sad

Sounds like a prolapse - could you get a picture?

He most likely needs a vet.

Yeah, I think it might have been. He seems fine. He's been out of his viv climbing around etc.

From pics on the net looks like a hemipenal prolapse.

I'll keep an eye on him

If it comes out and doesn't go back in be sure to keep the tissue moist and get the chameleon to the vets ASAP.

My cham everts his hemipenes when he poos. As long as it's gone back in and looks normal, there's probably nothing to worry about.
