Hi

Looking into getting a pair of these (ideally CB babies). I currently keep panthers and yemens and think its time I pushed the boat out a bit and tried something a bit more unusual and challenging.

How hard are they to keep and how does the day to day husbandry differ from yemens and panthers? From what I can gather they need cooler temps (with plenty of day/night fluctuation), perhaps a bit more misting/dripping, and good air flow/circulation.

Would love to hear from those actually keeping them (and am obviously interested in hearing if you have babies available).

cheers

Stuart

I have had a couple of jacksons over the years but they have all been WC's and didn't live as long as I thought they should. The climate here is dry most of the year though, so that might be a contributing factor.

I have found the dwarf jackson's easier to keep even though they are WC's too.

Here are some articles about them living in the wild that you might be interested in.....

Thanks for the reply. I will be going for CB babies as I don't want to risk it with WC animals.

cheers
