chahoua X auriculatus cross?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got this off the rapashy website forum just thouht i would post it to see what you guys and girls think.

Now, I know the auriculatus X ciliatus cross has been discussed many times, but I came across a curious photo on kingsnake today that made me wonder if a chahoua X auriculatus cross could be done.... here's the photo I came across:

it is being sold as an auric, but this thing just screams chahoua cross to me. It's got little white patches over the hips, a hidden pattern like a chahoua on it's back, and the little cresting over the eyes looks like it's made up of little arches/bumps like a chahoua whereas an auric has little spikes all the way around. Not a very good picture to go by, but I thought it was intriguing.... I'm going to email the seller and get a little more info, what do you guys think?

i did even now anyone had crossed these two yet but that pic sure does make it look like they have.

I personally not a big fan of hybrids but i can see peopl do it with certain species.

Crested and chahoua crosses have been very well documented, but auric chahoua crosses have just been rumoured. That photo does look pretty convincing though - it definitely has baby auric head shape. To be honest I don't understand why people would want to hybridise two species anyway.

not convinced by the photo but then again I've never seen a hybrid of those two so couldn't say what they should look like Laughing

Personally I hope it's not, especially if it's being sold as a pure auric. Some hybrids are nice, most are facinating that they have been done but I don't really like the idea if them being available to mix into pure blood lines.
