The family of monitors you want to be looking at is the subgenus Odatria. These are considered the dwarf species of monitors and will all be CBB as they are Australian.
The most common are Ackies (Varanus acanthurus) These start at around the £100 mark.
Moving up in price and harder to come across are:
Varanus gilleni
Varanus glauerti
Varanus kingorum
Varanus pilbarensis
Varanus storri
Varanus tristis tristis
Varanus tristis orientalis
Some of these will be very difficult to find and very expensive. Your best bet is to do a bit or research, find a particular species you like and then start hunting in the classifieds.
Good luck!

Timor monitors - Varanus timorensis - are fairly common and usually go for around the same price as ackies or a bit more, i can get you an adult female if you are interested? PM me.
kimberly rock monitors - Varanus glauerti - are a bit harder to come by. You will just have to search the classifieds or post a wanted advert. I think they usually go for around the £300 mark but this can vary a fair bit.

Ackies are often available, mostly around €125 for hatchlings
Timors are less seen here on the mainland, prices aroun €100 to €150 for hatchlings. A friend of mine just put his pair of timors together...They're sunbathing on top of each other, so i'm guessing they quite like each other _________________ *steps are the only obstacle on the ladder to succes...*
