well finally after god knows how long and 3 bottles of mite off, mr nibbs has finally got rid of the mites (touching the wood on the viv now) god it seemed like 4 ever lol just when i 4rt id got them all off him they popped up again!!! worst thing is i havnt got a clue where he got um from.

for future has anybody got any other ways 2 get rid of mites other than miteoff everything clean out the viv ect??

diluted frontline for cats and dogs, spray it on your hands and massage the dragon, also treat the viv with it, they will be gone in no time

I spotted a few mites on my beardie when I first got him.
I used a product called Provent-A-Mite, and it cleared them up straight away.
I did not even have to strip the whole viv out, just took him out and sprayed the viv.

It is an american product, but I got some mail order from a UK company called JunglePhase - there number is 01708 500800.

frontline every time for me - works a treat - I dilute it put a bit on kitchen roll and put it on the lizard or snake - then use another bit to clean the viv - 100% success

Thats worth knowing Very Happy im always paranoid when my mrs does the dogs and cat for fleas.
Not had mites with my herps though, yet? Smile

lol well the stupid things r back again!! so mite get some frontline n give that a go, need 2 buy sum more substrate, iv changed it so many times now tht iv ran out lol, so i still need 2 change the inside using this frontline?
