This has been asked many many times so in a nutshell by the time you have paid for airfreight, import tax, vet inspection, an import agent and of course your American stock and had to do all the running around the rather attractive prices you see in the USA (and favorable exchange rate) makes it less cost effective.
Personally I think its easier buying in Europe _________________ Live for today as your dead for a long long time

The simplest way is to arrange what you want and collect from one of the European Shows.
Or just go with a shopping list to Hamm (or any of the big events) pick up your stock and see before you buy....much better _________________ Live for today as your dead for a long long time

depends what snakes you are talking about i would imagine. some of the corn morphs appearing now would have to be imported from america i would think. could be wrong though. the biggest hold up with importing is waiting for cites. _________________

Corn snakes aren't CITES listed.
Importing from America isn't particularly complicated, but it will work out expensive if you only want a couple of them. It is probably better for the animals getting them direct from the USA to the UK, rather than doing it through European shows, as they'll spend less time in transit without water, heating, etc. |

when i said cites i was meaning royals. iv never tried importing corns, so i dont know about them. but i would imagine that would be a good thing as it wouldnt take so long to get them. _________________
