Tried all sort of tricks and treats to get my two male Hoggies to eat now that they have warmed up again after their winter snooze. Nope.... Nothing would they eat. The females have been pigging away nicely for a while now, but not the males. I am always happier to see males eat a few times before breeding.
Yesterday I opened a tin of pink salmon - 84p from Sainsburys - and shared it between the cats and the Hoggies. BINGO, yum yum, yes..... that worked
They are all in together now and breeding activity has started, the salmon must have been good stuff |
