I used this homemade incubator last year for my rat snake eggs with no luck wether it cause female yellow & male great plains just as i was told the eggs from them will always be infertile is that correct
.
Is it possible to do this above with a normal mat underneath viv and fill viv with only moss and bowl of water incubating rat snake eggs and change temp to 80F without wood/bricks and critter cage basically a snake setup.
And just place eggs in moss inside viv like this without water/bricks ect and do a snake setup with moss and just place eggs in it.

Your rat snake eggs could have been fertile.
I would persevere with the home made incubator in the first pic.
I presume you used a thermostat with it. _________________ John
