Hello,
here i present my baby veiled.
She is growing at a really slow rate comparing to her brothers, but they are still at the shop i bought her... I suppose it is normal for them to grow at different rates... But she does have a some bits of skin from her only shade which was about 3 week's ago... Is that normal?

I would have said that she could do with her humidity a little higher... Although, her eyes don't seem to be retracted too much...
Just keep spraying the Viv, but not her directly! Don't want to stress her!
Good luck! |

That baby looks very thin, if she were mine i would move her to a real small setup to monitor her feeding, what size viv is she in at the mo? _________________

It might pay to get the skin off her too...looks like it could be building up fungi/bacteria underneath near the skin...because it has gone sort of brown (whereas the skin sheds tend to be white and then fall off in my experience).
Like Karen said, she also looks thin. How big s the viv, and have you observed her eating and drinking much? Also has she been supplemented with the right vitamins (as this can have an effect on shedding from what i gather).... _________________

Sorry...didn't tell you how to get the skin off...perhaps try some warm water with a cotton bud to gently tease the skin off...and if that doesn't work carefully remove with tweezers _________________

Thank you for your answers.
I've taken your advices on helping her shade, i used Cotton and now she looks much better. About the food, at the shop i bought her (about 2 months ago), they feed them with crickets, and her brothers feed from a small container, they learned to go to. I was trying to do the same with her, but she seems not to look for food in there.
She was on a small terrarium, but i moved her to an 16,5''x16,5''x39'' exoterra flextray yesterday. I'm still waiting for them to find the container. Meanwhile she is eating some drosophila that are wondering around the flexarium... |

Ramos, if she was mine she would be back in the small viv FFs arnt enough for her try getting some small locusts or crickets and just free roam them in her viv, if her viv is too big she will have problems finding her food hence the smaller set up, just till she puts some weight on _________________
