Not really mate fire bellies mix well with fire bellies and tomato frogs are fare more terrestrial than the toads. _________________ Paul

Pet shops often mix frogs of different species together...and often the animals are fine. The only reason they do it is to conserve space, mit is of no benefit to the frogs and, long term, can be harmful in some cases. Its certainly not advisable if you ahve any intention of breeding.
When it comes to asking about mixing species, there is only one question to answer:
"would mixing in anyway improve the quality of life of my amphibians?"
The answer to this question is, invariably, no...so why ever consider doing it? _________________ Interested in amphibians? Join us at Myamphibia for friendly banter, amazing pictures and great information. Make some amphibious friends today! |

pet shops (non reptile specialists) tend to just dump stuff together mate either through ignorance, space limitations or just plain stupidity and greed.. This runs a few risks, stress and disease are two big ones. _________________ Paul
