I was just wondering, how long do the following snakes live for....
Irian Jaya Carpet Pythons
Corn Snakes
Brazilian Rainbow Boas
King Snakes
Royal Pythons

Although not on your list I have had a Grey Rat Snake which I hatched in 1977 and it lived for 27 years. _________________ John

I thought it was 47, but on of my books (which may be outdated etc) says a boa c. _________________

Just to add more confusion I searched the web for 'oldest snake' and it came up with a Boa constrictor that died in 1977 at age 40. Suspect though that since then snakes have lived longer in captivity. |
