|
|
Having acquired a female Yemen and housing it in a Flexi. We all know they are pretty poor for keeping humiderty, Although it has cracking ventilation.
Im Just after any plans or ideas for making a home made dripper. I could just go out and buy one, but i've heard people of making them from milk bottled (2litre ones) and a bit of tubing? It's all well and good saying what you need, but how do you put it together etc. Pictures Would most defernetly come in handy.
But how can i do one myself, i've heard bottles with a slit cut into them. I know to place them above some plants and then a collecter beneath that. But its just getting one built. I have lots of objects about, and can probably get what is needed.
Just to summarise, because im so crap at explaining, i would like details of how to make a dripper and also pictures would be grateful.
Thanks In Advance :]

True. But I Was Thinking. If i had one canister or water. i Could have to dripper zones from the one container. Is a custom thing i like to do, sense of achievment, even if its a container and a bit of tube. |

I made one out of a plastic sweetie jar, a length of air line tubing and a small twist valve designed for air pumps in fish tanks. Total cost £1.49. It holds around 2 litres of water and i can turn the flow up and down as and when i need to. The equavalent sized "Big Dripper" is about £10 in my local pet shop.
I'll try and take a picture when i get home from work. |
