Right sooooooooo i posted i had an offish crestie.
Well it shed, it was sticky for 24hrs or so then it became unstuck again.
It's 1/2 the size of the other and i can see ribs.
I HAND FEED it CGD with some baby food otherwise it won't eat, i don't know what to do with it at all, it's lively and what not.
Worth seeing if UV helps?

Hiya Rachel hows you?
Cresties do tend to be on the slimmer side unless its female and breeding. Any chance of a pic?
I found it quite hard to get used to their appearance after having Leo's, which don't show you their ribs unless there's a prob.
The sticky problem is something that crops up every so often (reading various posts) can you check that its feet are completely clear of old shed, other than that as long as you arn't using creams etc on your hands and then handling him really its a case of waiting for it to regain its stickyness and trying not to worry too much, hard I know.
As long as it IS growing even if its still small compared to the others again try not to worry, some of mine seem to grow fairly constantly and some do a growth spurt every so often, the main thing is that it does grow and that it is healthy and active. As long as it is then there shouldn't be too much wrong with it.
Can I ask what you are feeding just as a standard question, I'm sure your giving it the right diet, its just that if we know what its eating then its easier to suggest other options xxxxxx |

Spoke to someone else today who said it sounds like it has calcium problem. Basically i can see ribs constantly. I've fed them with CGD mixed with babyfood/banana to bulk it up and crickets.
This one won't take crickets and ONLY eats if hand fed.
I got some liquid calcium to give it today which its had and a UV so trying that. _________________ 20 Corns
