|
|
Just out of curiosity I had a look through the web for care sheets for hog island boas to confirm I'm doing everything right (would hope so given I've had mine for near two years).
Anyway I notice some conflicting info about temps. My ceramic heater heats the warm end of the viv to about 30oC and the cool end is about 26oC. Are these temps OK sounding to everyone here as I'm paranoid now?
My hoggy feeds well (aside from a blip in the winter months last year) and has grown to about 4' in the year and 8 months or so I've had him. |

He went off his food from around mid November to the beginning of January but is now back to taking medium sized rats again. I didn't worry too much when he went off his food as he still looked perfectly healthy and did not lose weight. |

Temps sound fine, Our male goes off his food every winter, normally December but that's when we start introducing him to the female. Sounds like you need a mate for him _________________ Steve |
