does anyone use hooks for getting their boa out, and are they better than just getting them out by hand? _________________

I use a hook for most the snakes..if only just to let them know its not food..then move the head away and take them out...works well if you do it consistently. _________________

Maybe worth it...I use one mainly because they aren't handled regularly so they expect a rat thrown in 9 times out of ten when I open the viv.. _________________
