does anyone use hooks for getting their boa out, and are they better than just getting them out by hand?

I use a hook for most the snakes..if only just to let them know its not food..then move the head away and take them out...works well if you do it consistently.

at the minute i tend to open her door, she comes out and i get hold off her. but i want to get her into a routine and was thinking about a hook.

Maybe worth it...I use one mainly because they aren't handled regularly so they expect a rat thrown in 9 times out of ten when I open the viv..

ye i rarly handle my reps aswell Embarassed only thing i handle is the burm
