So I have been having to assist feed my little striped house snake now for over 3 months.
So last night I decided a different approach.
One of my African house snakes had just shed, so after giving the little stripped gut a mouses tail which has made up the menu for the last while, I decided to force a pinky into a tube of sheded snake skin.
Came back later and low an behold the pinky was gone, champagne all round in my household.
I had read on a house snake specific site that the baby's had a tendency to eat one another though I had dismissed this as been a bit exaggerated as i had kept them together in the past an never seen any behavior like that.
None the less I'm over the moon _________________ retierd and spending my childrens inheritance. |

Johnny buddy
I'm over the moon, its like having a sick child in your care when they are not on the feed.
Sleepless nights, kept asking myself what else can I try have I done every thing I can, as they get skinnier you start wondering how long now, so relieved.
Now I gotta get the little monsters weight up and I'm smiling, brother,
Still astounded it took after trying every other method, I researched and the bam, It took using another house snake skin _________________ retierd and spending my childrens inheritance. |
