As many of you guys and gals will know my favorite pastime is herps in the wild!

I'll go anywhere to see them as they are supposed to be seen.

As we seem to be having an early spring I visited two of my favorite adders spots this morning as it was very sunny and mild at 8c.

Here are some of the critters about (two weeks early this year).


not much to go on but I spotted him


a little close to get a view of him


Another male shletering from a cold wind


A different male basking in the winter sunshine


Coiled up and happy

Total count of 5 adders in 30 minutes....roll on spring
