I have the same issue with my male cham or I used to at least, I think a lot of the tight gripping is down to not feeling safe, do you walk around when you have her out or does she still grip so tight when you are just sitting still?

In short there isn't anything you can do, if you clipped her nails she wouldn't be able to grip branches etc properly.
I have seen people ask the same kind of thing before and basically be told there is nothing you can do Sad

Painful isn't it Rolling Eyes

The only thing I can advise is wear long sleeves when you get her out lol this is what we had to do with my male, not sure why but he doesn't seem to grip so hard anymore Smile
