Well I cant say too much about this cus if he comes onto this forum hell know its me.

This beardie has very little tail left, only one full leg and 2 tiny nubins instead of from front legs and hes other back leg is a little stump.
Hes in a mess. Tiny little thing around 3 inches.

He doesnt look to stressed out
hes quite perky, alert, hasnt drank yet

im getting a vivarium for him tomorrow
gunna try him with food tomorrow

and gunna get antiseptic stuff for reptile tomorrow like wound powder

ive got hydrolife by zoomed

He is moving around a little, hobbles around but can move around quite well.

He tried to bite the bloke i got him off and the man had him in with others which picked on him hence why hes armless

bless him
well hes gunna be babied now

Wot do ya think of the name Jake???

Jake is a nice name, legless might be more appropriate.
Poor little thing, was it a shop or a breeder you got him from? Either way it dosnt sound as though he should be keeping reptiles. Good for you taking the little chap in, best of luck with him.

Got him from a man who bred him from hes 2 beardies. He killed on of hes beardies cus it bite hes other ones and he had 2 breeding chameleons and let the female die of being eggbound.

Its 'f*c*i*n*' discusting how someone could allow an animal to get to tht stage and not do anything about it.

ive settled on Jake bless him

My dante has a little baby brother now Very Happy

this bloke i would quite happily put him in a garbage truck and let the machine crush him slowly. I wouldnt lose a single nights sleep over it

A couple of people now have hav sed i should put him to sleep becus of hes disability but if hes basking and eating and is a healthy dragon and doing all the things a beardie does although he wont be able to run around he can still have a decent quality of life. At least I hope so. and of course he gunna get veggies now which he never had before hell get fed daily (like nevr before) and have clean water (this guy cant even be bothered to giv em clean drinkin water)and of course ill help him when he sheds and hell be like a baby

I dont wanna put him to sleep Crying or Very sad

I dont blame you for not wanting him put down, and as long as he can feed and move around without damaging himself then do your best for him. Just take care not to let what you want stop you doing what is best for the beardie. If he is damaging himself moving around, or cannot move himself, having him put to sleep may be the best option for him.
sorry if this sounds harsh, it is not meant to be. Sometimes the right thing to do is not the easiest.

yep I completely agree with you alistair. I was thinking if he shows signs of not enjoying life and its getting him down and hes not healthy I will have to put him out of his misery. Ill hate doing it but if it comes to it then thats how its got to be Crying or Very sad

but for now Ill see how he goes and give him all the best and hopefully hell pull through and be healthy and happy and give him everything a beardie could wish for (exept front legs)

just fingers crossed for him

I go to Coldblooded in rainham alot.its my regular herp show LOL
I know paul quite well and he had a few mantis off me a couple of weeks back.

Ive gotta get a vivaium from somewhere tomorrow. That be fun
Ive actually carried a 2ft vivarium and full beardie kit for my rankins from coldblooded to rainham station onto a train and switched at pitsea and then got a cab with the viv. man did my arms kill. had the help from my sister though.

things you do for animals eh Smile
