would this idea be able to hold a royal python

what it is is a peice of tick plexiglass sheet with a wooden frame cut in half and mesh over a hole in one half for a light and hinges in the middle so that one half can be opened at a time

the only problem im having is figuring out how to lock it Very Happy

by the time you've done all that and bought all the stuff, you could probably buy a decent vivarium, maxmum size for a royal would be o.k with 36" x18" x18" . Smile
