This is by far the best website about pink tongue skinks
http://www.geocities.com/pinktonguedskink/pink_tongue_skink_information_ce.htm
Here you can find everything you need to know about how to take care of this amazing species. There are not that hard to take care
And if you have picture's of yous _________________ Proud owner of

I keep my pair in a 80x45x100cm viv. Most care-sheets say that height isn't needed, but mine are certainly using it. So if you have the opportunity, make it a little higher then mentioned on most websites. Don't keep 2 males or even 2 females in the same enclosure, they will kill each other. Keeping a pair together isn't a problem. It's really hard to tell what sex an animal is, so if you want a pair then I suggest you to buy a little group to start with and when the are sexually matured you can easily see what the females are and what males. Keep in mind you can't keep the group together at that point are you end up with the dominant male en female killing the other ones.
I would also suggest to teach them to eat cat food or minced beef or something like that, so if you don't have snails for some time for some reason, you have an alternative to feed them.
They are great animals and very easy to keep. Lots of fun these animals! |

Reptile bark would be OK. I use that also, mixed with some soil. They would appreciate a substrate in which they can burrow. And they really like leaf-litter!
What you should get is your personal choice. I've had both, and I like the pink-tongue better, but that's just me. They are both great species. But for blue-tongues, I would use a bigger viv. |
