These are kind of crazy looking,

Lots of fun to look at, and although do like tasty snail eat allot of other foods as well.

Its the first time I have seen these in the flesh, luckily I have a river not too far from my house where the snails congregate at night.

You do see these in small numbers at the European shows. There is also someone selling some in Germany at the moment - but they are what I would call expensive!

Very nice lizards - anything with a common name like Crocodile Tegu has to be cool Cool

so is there any one selling/breeding these in the UK? or is the only way to get them is go to germany? i thought i had got myself one at HAMM but was just to late and it had already gone....any info?

My local shop has got a male in.
Stunning!!!!

He is looking for a female i think.

Has to be one of the best lizards.
