£8.50 or £350 the reason i purchased them is simple if i get no better with the tubes i havnt wasted £300 odd on one lense

Sometimes you do get what you pay for Steve and photography is usually a good example of that..I know people that use tubes and the most popular seem to be the kenko ones and these along with a decent lens produce decent results..but they are not that cheap.

I always beleive you get what you pay for 
but im skint after christmas and this new hobby may make me even more skinter i must resist the temptations

Steve this hobby will make you skint trust me!!!.. It starts off nice and sedate and before you know it your handing over £1000 or more for one lens!
Nice tip Mj but forgot the bacon butty mate..

not long in from work ...great idea this thread ...my tip ...erm ok ... take notes of settings you use for diff shots ...esp' at the start if ya learning ... helps no end.... and take bleedin LOADS of pics ( assuming Digital here )
