what size viv would u need for an average sized royal

as in inches insted of gallons Smile

That's like asking what sized shoes should you have for a human... Laughing

If you're starting with a hatchling, you may be better to start with a smaller viv or tub and increase the size as the snake grows.

What size Royal are you going for?

main thing is to have the set up correct. They need to have lots of hides and a proper temperature gradient. i have my one in a 24'' by 12'' viv and she is fine. All the books say they do not thrive with too much space but i think that if they have plenty of spaces to hide in they will be ok. So if you have been told to get a tiny viv to start with, then trade up, i would say dont. Buy a bigger one and provide plenty of hides. 3'' is fine for an adult
