Still getting plenty of lock up's with the ball pythons, looks like pretty much every male has mated with two or three females min.
Found the Clown male with a nice big female normal this morning, plus yellow belly x pastel, plus that unusual unproven CF male doing the biz with another normal female.
When are you guys going to start warming up again? I was thinking about the 2nd week of Feb, or failing that first week of March.
Hope everyone else is having a good season so far. _________________

I say "I found" as most of the time I can't remember where I put what male Everything is marked up, with each female having two co-dom males assigned to them or one recessive male. When I check round the room I open up the tubs and think "ahh, so that's where the stripe has been hiding" I know the females tub has Stripe written on it but so do 4 or 5 others so I can never remember which one he's actually with.
Whenever I see a lock up, I mark the tub with a tick. Once they seperate I will either move the male to another female or rest him for a week (he will feed then as well). _________________

Good luck Scott, especially proveing out that CF Male, he's very nice.
4 of my females (well I hope to god they are females, 1 definately is) are going to visit a nice spider on Wednesday, and they will be staying there until they lay, hopefully they will lay. I feel really guilty sending them away, but they had a good dinner last night so at least they won't be hungry _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Sounds like a great start for you. Hope you prove out that CF male, looks a good'un, slightly Fire-like
It'll be interested to see how your GStripe holds out with all his women I find it strange that Royals can be bred to multiple females (not complaining, mind) whereas with BCI it is recommended to have one male to each female
What other lil 'secrets are you not showing us? I think we all know you have more snakes than these... _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

I think he's keeping a few secrets up his sleeve And I think I can understand why, especially if he's trying something special this season. We wouldn't expect Dolce & Gabana to review their latest fashion _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Nice one Scott. I'll probably start warming next month but do it slowly, possibly over 5-6 weeks. When did you first put them together? Have you palpated any follicles yet in any of them?
