Being a male it could be a sign of hot temps, check them now just in case. Digging is more common in females usually, when they've got an expectant clutch, whether they be fertile or infertile. _________________ Regards James Stroud |

if it's a male, then it sounds like there is something wrong with him or the set up.
can you describe the set up a little? _________________

its a mesh viv with lots of fiscus plants in it, a uv light and a basking lamp, the temp stays at around 23c until night time when it drops to 18c..i spray the viv a few times a day and he is drinking and eating fine, as soon as i come into see him he gets out on my hand but seems happy enough.
i was told he is male as he has the hook like toe on the back of his feet.
at the bootom of the viv i have put bark down , he eats mostly locusts but has cickets in there with him, meal worms and occ wax worms. |

23c seems far too cold, mine have a basking temp of 35c (even warmer if they wish to get really close), and a background daytime temp of 26 - 28c.
Your night time temp is fine. _________________
