Well my supposed gravid royal female shed 2 wks ago and refused food until last night when she decided a medium rat would go down nicely! Now with my luck recently (severn trent and drains) I'm thinking omg what if she's just fat and playing me for a mug, checked on her this morning and there she was in her lay box looking well stuffed.
Here's one of the many matings
Madam this morning, her weight has gone up from 3lb 6 oz to 5lb 4 oz in a mth.

My instincts tell me she is but you know how you panic when they don't follow the 'usual' pattern of behaviour you start to worry its a big poo about to explode out of her!
I'm going to leave her to incubate herself and see how she does, now that's going to see me go white overnight I'll bet lol. _________________ Hognose

I could be wrong BUT
Untill ovulation She could reabsorb the follicles, though unlikely because of the condition she is in.
When she ovulates you cannot mistake it. Once ovulation occurs She is then Gravid.
After she ovulates She will stop feeding.
I would feed her up, when they are building as it is called, A good food supply can make all the difference.
