I would like to tell you about a new shop that has recently (8 weeks) opened in Billingham near Middlesbrough. The shop is owned by my daughter and her boyfriend, some of you may know her Lauren, (Uroplatus), she has been keeping reptiles for 16 years, is very knowledgeable and helpful. So if anyone lives in the North-East of England please pop in you are sure to recieve a warm welcome (as well as a cuppa) Thanks Julie.

Hi its Lauren - the co-owner of Petropolis. I just thought I'd pop on here and give our shop a quick mention but it seems that my Mam has beaten me to it!
We stock livefood (£2.00 box or 3 for £5.00 (cheapest livefood available methinks ) Frozen food, dry goods, electricals and everything and anything you need to keep your pet healthy and happy!
Anyway, just to mention we do stock unusual reptiles as well as the more common species - at the moment we have in:
- Blue beauty ratsnakes cb05 and wc adult female
- Leopard ratsnakes - cb05
- Red tailed green racer - cb05
- Hogg Island boa (male)- cb05
- Pastel boa (female) - cb05
- Gargoyle geckos
- Gehyra vorax - adult pair
- Goniurosaurus lichenfelderi (adult trio)
- Uromastyx occellatus
Plus loads more - we have 32 vivariums plus an invert/amphibian rack - also an expanding aquatic section with unusual species such as stingrays, arrowana, freshwater moray eels, knife livebearers plus more...
We also stock birds and small animals including dumbo, curly-haired and husky rats!
