I'm hoping someone here will know a little about these guys. I'm hoping in get one in a few months time and I'm in the process of doing my research.

The main thing that I am wondering is what people use to feed them? I have read that people have raised them on Gargoyle MRP, is this normal or are their other more suitable diets out there for them?

I use crickets and CGD, only ever really seem them eat the crickets though.

Oddly enough I haven't seen many photos of them as babies, I just think they look brilliant. Smile

Hi,if reared from hatchlings they take cgd very well,the adults seem keen on the two part mix strawberry and mango.Here is a couple of shots of youngsters.

Both of mine seem to prefer crickets to fruit/diets. My female is now eating the two part diet - my male is still reluctant.

I know you didn't ask for photos but here are few of my male when he was a baby:

If there's anything else you want to know ask away - they are plenty of us keeping them on here and they don't often get discussed.

It's amazing how their tails can curl up like that. I hope that my little fella will be as cute as yours when I get him. Smile

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for you before he actually arrives as I like to get as much information about how to care for them as possible. Very Happy

Here's just a couple for starters, I've read that their set up is basically exactly the same as it is for Cresties. Is that the way you've got yours setup or do you do something different? Also I'm only planning on getting the one, is it alright to keep them on their own or are they more suited to keeping in a group?
