My new royal has shed twice, but very patchily, and I had to remove the eye caps and some skin around the mouth. Humidity is around 60%, i provided a box of damp moss (which she didnt use!), and she also has a bowl of water (which she never uses!)
Any advice would be welcome

Give her something to rub against, that may help. . . and also,

all I do is put the water bowl to the hot end Very Happy

if she has another patchy one, dampen a towel and run her through it.

As said above and you might want to spray her for a few days prior to her next slough.

Have a look at this thread that Snakey put up for me, I have to say THANKS SNAKEY, my female Hope has just shed perfectly, I've been giving her a really good spraying the last couple of days and it seems to have done the trick, I also moved the water bowl tight to teh hot end for extra humidity Very Happy
